Translation Services Bridgend
High-quality, fast-response language translation

Our network of translation associates are based across the UK and the translators come from all around the world - they only translate into their mother tongue. They are carefully selected based on their qualifications and experience, and their translation work is constantly monitored, so we are able to select the best partner for your job. All translations are proofread by a second, independent linguist before undergoing further quality assessment.
We work with small and medium-sized companies, covering the Bridgend area and surrounding regions, providing quality language translation services combined with very competitive fees. Long-term translation services clients include some of the world’s leading brands, from L’Oréal and Bosch in Europe to local, British organisations such as The Business Link.
We work with all major file types and formats including websites, technical manuals, legal contracts, marketing literature, medical and pharmaceutical texts, financial documents, training manuals, patents, telecommunications, IT, engineering and construction material, into and from all the major world languages.
These languages include: Afrikaans, Albanian, Arabic, Bengali, Bulgarian, Chinese, Croatian, Czech, Danish, Dutch, Estonian, Farsi, Finnish, French, German, Greek, Gujarati, Hebrew, Hindi, Hungarian, Icelandic, Indonesian, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Kurdish, Latvian, Lithuanian, Malay, Norwegian, Polish, Portuguese, Punjabi, Romanian, Russian, Serbian, Slovakian, Somali, Spanish, Swahili, Swedish, Tagalog, Tamil, Thai, Turkish, Ukrainian, Urdu, US English, Uzbek, Vietnamese, Welsh and Zulu.

Clients rely on us to provide accurate and responsive language services. We have a team of qualified and experienced associates, providing coverage in the Bridgend area and internationally. We have a flexible approach to providing language translation services and a passion for delivering quality language projects.
All translation work is checked very carefully and our Bridgend clients comment that they would not hesitate to recommend our translation services to other businesses. Our associates have helped companies break down language and cultural barriers and support businesses and professionals in the Bridgend area and around the world.
Through our associates, we provide the full range of language services including translation, interpreting, language and cultural training, typesetting, proofreading, voiceovers, foreign telemarketing and language consultancy. We have succeeded by listening to and working with our translation clients, who increasingly demand the quality, responsiveness, professionalism and support that only a major business translation services provider can supply.

THE NORWEGIAN LANGUAGE
Norwegian (Norsk) is a North Germanic language spoken primarily in Norway, where it is an official language. Together with Swedish and Danish, Norwegian forms a continuum of more or less mutually intelligible local and regional variants.
OUR NORWEGIAN LINGUISTS
We have an extensive network of Norwegian freelance linguists who are all experienced and qualified linguists. Every freelancer who works for us must adhere to a strict code of conduct, which regulates expected quality levels and ensures confidentiality.
THE PERSIAN LANGUAGE
Persian is an Indo-European language spoken in Iran, Afghanistan, Tajikistan. Persian and its varieties have official-language status in Iran, Afghanistan, and Tajikistan. There are approximately 72 million native speakers of Persian in Iran, Afghanistan, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan and about the same number of people in other parts of the world speak Persian. UNESCO was asked to select Persian as one of its languages in 2006.
THE POLISH LANGUAGE
Polish (język polski, polszczyzna) is spoken by most of the 38 million inhabitants of Poland and is the most spoken West Slavic language. There are also native speakers of Polish in western Belarus and Ukraine, as well as in eastern Lithuania, southeastern Latvia, northern Romania, and the northeastern part of Czech Republic.
THE PORTUGUESE LANGUAGE
Portuguese (português or língua portuguesa) is a Romance language that originated in what is now Galicia (Spain) and northern Portugal from the Latin spoken by romanised Pre-Roman peoples of the Iberian Peninsula (namely the Gallaeci, the Lusitanians, the Celtici and the Conii) about 2000 years ago.
Today it is one of the world's major languages, ranked 4th according to number of native speakers (approximately 250 million). It is the language with the largest number of speakers in South America, spoken by nearly all of Brazil's approximately 186 million population, which amounts to over 51% of the continent's population even though it is the only Portuguese-speaking nation in the Americas.

Language information by country
Japan
While Japan is not a low-wage country, it is on the doorstep of rapid market development in China and Korea. Japan-centric LSPs such as Honyaku Center, Intergroup, and Sunflare book revenue of more than US$20 million per year, but they do business only in Asia. Asia-focused TOIN appeared on our July 2005 list, and promises to reappear if it ever consummates its lengthy on-again, off-again flirtation with Amsterdam-based ISP.
China
The PRC government supports its information technology industry with tax breaks, subsidized office parks, and other incentives. We expect the Chinese to get more involved in building an indigenous localization industry to support its export agenda and to create more information-age jobs.
Last year the PRC’s State Commission for Administration of Standardization approved China's first set of standards on the quality of translation, thus setting a precedent for state involvement in the language industry. Local players of note are E-C Translations, Beyondsoft, Boffin, and Transco.
Central Europe
Non-Euro Zone nations such as the Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland, and Slovakia comprise what we call the “Carpathian Tigers.” Firms such as Argos in Poland, and Moravia Worldwide and Skrivanek in the Czech Republic, pioneered the language service industry by taking advantage of cheap labor and real estate – and growing their business along with the economies of the region. More recently, Western European LSPs like SDL, Jonckers, and WHP set up shop in Central and Eastern Europe.
